you need a sex marker on the birth certificate for medical reasons? ok then why dont you just have a spot where you describe the babys genitalia bc thats literally all the M/F box means

why not just say what the person is at risk for tho? Like are they are risk for ovarian cancer? prostate cancer? ect

because it would save time and be a better system especially for people who have bottom surgery, intersex people, and people who say have their ovaries removed and thus are no longer at risk of ovarian cancer for example.

Yeah seriously, indicating organs one may/may not have, one’s hormonal patterns, and such makes a lot more sense. Because the little m/f check box is basically just a list of assumptions. And nearly all of those assumptions are malleable and changeable, either deliberately or just as a fact of age and experiences. And assuming wrong can be detrimental to one’s health.

Getting rid of the m/f check boxes in favor of actual relevant information, is really a good idea for everyone including cis folks.
